The CPU Youth Basketball Committee is the foundation of basketball in Center Point and Urbana.

It allows all kids to have a place to become introduced to the game of basketball in a safe and educational environment surrounded by fellow classmates. Most students continue to play in our youth basketball system all the way through 8th grade until they enter the high school program. There are additional options for kids to increase their involvement in basketball, but our youth basketball committee and program is the foundation, and consistent piece that allows us to provide students with the opportunity to play basketball and increase their knowledge and skill. Our high school programs would not be where they are today without our youth basketball committee. The benefits of being involved in youth basketball at CPU extend far beyond just learning the sport of basketball. All four of my children are involved in the program and we are grateful to have it.
